What Helper stores

• About you — your display name, your preferred language, and the Google account used to sign in. Helper reads only your name and email address from Google.
• Household membership — which household you belong to and whether you are the employer or the helper.
• Day-to-day content — tasks and repeating task schedules, messages and their translations, and requests.
• Employment records — rest days taken, salary payments and the periods they cover, contract pay terms, and bonuses.

Helper has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Nothing about your use of the app is measured or sold. The only thing kept in your browser is the session that keeps you signed in.

Who can see it

Content is visible to the members of your household, and to no other household. Chat has three lanes — one shared by everyone, and one private to each role — and the private lanes are enforced by the database, not merely hidden in the interface.

Helper does not record when a task was ticked, how often one was missed, or any rating, score, or assessment of a person. Those are not features that were left out; the database has nowhere to put them.

Services Helper relies on

• Supabase — stores the database and manages sign-in. Data is held in the Singapore region.
• Google Sign-In — confirms who you are. Helper receives your name and email address, nothing more.
• Google Gemini — translates messages. When a message needs translating, its text is sent to Google's translation model and the result is cached so it is never sent twice. Message text therefore leaves Helper's own storage; nothing else in your account does.
• Cloudflare — serves the app itself.

How long records are kept

Rest-day and salary records are permanent and cannot be edited or deleted once written — not by the employer, and not by whoever runs this app. They also remain readable by the helper after she leaves the household.

This is deliberate, and it is the one place where Helper puts durability ahead of deletion. An employment record is worth least at the moment someone most wants it gone. Everything else — tasks, messages, requests — is ordinary data with no such protection.

Your choices

You can leave a household at any time, which ends your access to its day-to-day content while leaving your own employment record readable to you. To ask what is held about you, or to request deletion of anything outside the permanent records described above, contact privacy@example.com.
